Good gravy, it's finally been updated!

TimeLords is role-playing game created by Blacksburg Tactical Research Center (BTRC).In TimeLords, characters have the option of creating their own characters with a comprehensive system, or, playing themselves. With the aid of the supertechnological device, the Matrix (which looks a 3 pound, glossy black 20-sided die), the characters bounce around through time, space, and continuity. They are propelled by a device they know nothing about, nor know how to use.
In addition, you can play TimeLords as a generic RPG. The whole system is very realistic, and very detailed. I don't recommend as a introductory game to those who've never played role-playing games before.
TimeLords is a game based on realism. Combat can be deadly to the unprepared... no point-blank shots that take away 6 hit points here. In fact, there's no hit points, either.Instead, damage is taken as a fraction of a character's total Body Points.Damage directly affects the part of the body, and there are specific effects depending on the location such as stuns, knockouts, broken bones, and more.
I've GMed a TimeLords campaign for two years, and it would have gone longer had I not had to move to another state that was a twelve hour drive away from most of my players.I started the campaign with a new group of players later, with a different view point than the last. This one only lasted a few months, though.Included on this page is all the data I could find on the Internet, links and text files, all cross-indexed. I'll be adding stuff from my own campaign as soon as I can.

Update (finally!): As of today, I've deleted one bad link, and uodatedsome others. However, more stuff will be added soon. Things to look for: acollection of World War II tanks, Hummers, possibly helicopters and sportscars to add to your TimeLords vehicle collections. Also, I'm currently workingon a guide to ancient people for TimeLords... Assyrians, Babylonians, Egyptians,Greeks, Isrealites, etc. Basically, pre-Roman. This will be online, with informationon panthenons, daily life, dress, and will have images, maps of cities andnations, floorplans of buildings... everything you need to take your charactersinto history.
Good news! I've started playing TimeLords again... as a player, not a GM, however.After discovering this page, my new GM Panaga invited me to join his IRC TimeLordsgroup which had just started a few weeks ago. I'll be including the logs of ourgame here as soon as possible... just like all the other new stuff I have planned. :)

Welcome to my latest installment in my on-going attempt at a homepage. I have decided to add some new features to my page such as frames and JavaScript. As usual, I do not dwell on the flashy or large amounts of eye candy... I just try and make a page that is pleasing to look at, easy to use, and full of stuff I enjoy.
Anyway, as you might have guessed from the title of this page, my name is James. James Upp, to be more precise. The links at my page are stuff I'm interested in, and things I enjoy doing. If you don't share my hobbies and are here anyway just because you're around surfing the net, see if you do share any of my hobbies by moving your mouse cursor over the menu buttons below. If, after that, the thought of my hobbies makes you go into dry heaves, you're welcome to either go away or head over to my collection of things to do just for fun, which I hope everyone will enjoy.
Anyway, that's enough rambling for now. If my friends talk me into making a little autobiography to go here for all to see, I may. But this is all I'm going to have for now.
