Hi there,
I'm new to EABA, so my apologies if this is a really obvious question... What is the best way to handle multiple possible PC races at character generation time? (And I guess: is there already a supplement that demonstrates the best way to handle this?) |

I believe the rules touch on that somewhere. The easiest way to handle inherent species differences is to apply a plus or minus to attributes after they are bought. If "elves" are more dextrous but not quite as strong, you might say:
Elf Strength -1 Agility +1 So someone who paid for a Strength and Agility of 7 would end up with a Strength of 6 and Agility of 8. Similarly, you can apply inherent fortes and weaknesses, blessings or curses. Preferably, it should balance out in terms of points, but it is possible to have a generally superior or inferior PC race if that is how you want it. |
