OK so I now have a HP touchpad with a capacitive touch screen that feels like glass is as sensitive as a schoolgirl's.....lips. (With a tip of the hat to the original BSG series for that witty comment.)
Does anyone have any tips on cleaning this sensitive and responsive screen? Are there any big no no's, like certain cleaners, etc? I know some lcd monitors have a long list of things not to use, the book that came with me touchpad seemed mute on such matters so I'm asking the good people here for their informed opinions as I don't want to frak this very lovely little piece of expensive technology I lucked into up. |

I am Death. Death the Avenger, purger of sins. Death the Merciful, purifier of souls. Those who considered me gone, think again, Those who laughed and mocked me, be afraid. I am returned, and this time Judgement will not be denied, for my name is Death, and I have come to Judge you.

I'm not sure about the HP. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 uses Gorilla Glass, so I don't really have to worry about it. I just use a soft cotton cloth to clean it once a day or so. (I know others who I'm not sure have ever cleaned theirs.)

Personally, I use one of the "microfiber" cloths, which you can find just about everywhere these days. The iPad is a fingerprint magnet and these cloths do a good job of it. Not sure it is any better than a generic soft rag, but I bought into the hype and got one anyway. Important thing is to keep your cleaning cloth clean.
