Hello, all. Just making my presence know, as is deemed polite in many communities.
The name's Eric, but I mostly go by Student 20 online. I've been gaming for almost three decades, which is a statement that never fails to make me feel old every time I type it/say it. I have loads of experience with a variety of systems, although my past preferences have leaned towards GRUPS and the d20 system. I'll try anything once, though, and I had a chance to play an EABA game a while back. I thought it was a pretty tight system. Then I heard about the v2 playtest and I thought "Well, that sounds cool". So here I am. Hoping to help out with the playtesting and stuff, assuming I can get my group into it. Either way, it's nice to be here. |

Perhaps, someday, I'll have something clever to say... but I'm not holding my breath.

Welcome, and enjoy your stay! There's enough of the v2 material up to keep you occupied a while and of course, there are sample downloads of all the EABA v1 gameworld books to peruse.
Once enough of EABA v2 is solid, I'll open up discussion for some gameworlds in development, which are mostly just waiting for EABA v2 rules, particularly the ever-thorny "powers" chapter. |

I'm curious about all that gameworld stuff. Very curious.

Well, the short form on the new ones is:
ASE - Superheroes done with an eye for the real-world effects of their existence Grep(working title) - A quasi-nanotech upheaval in society Aethos - Living as squatters on a roving alien worldship Epiphany - Ancient fantasy. A rework of an old standalone title CORPS - Re-boot of the 1st edition CORPS gameworld. Even wierder than the original |

Which all sound interesting... as I was expecting
Aethos and Grep are the ones that really have me, although I suspect my group will be more eager to hear about ASE. Thanks for the extra info! |
