Not real sure if this is the right forum, as I'm not sure which version of EABA they'll be issued for.

Greg, I saw a post you made on a forum somewhere regarding upcoming settings for EABA. Epiphany you had mentioned, and I can't wait for that. It was also interesting to see that you'll be re-imagining the setting for CORPS, which will work great for a couple of my campaigns.

There were a couple of other settings you mentioned, though, that I don't remember the details of, including a derelict alien worldship and a world that had suffered a nanotech incident (although I assume not as severe as Age of Ruin.) Can you list those again?

I gave a quick mention of them over at the welcome mat, but here's a cut & paste:

Well, the short form on the new ones is:

ASE - Superheroes done with an eye for the real-world effects of their existence

Grep(working title) - A quasi-nanotech upheaval in society

Aethos - Living as squatters on a roving alien worldship

Epiphany - Ancient fantasy. A rework of an old standalone title

CORPS - Re-boot of the 1st edition CORPS gameworld. Even wierder than the original
It burns! It burns like hygiene!

oops

I didn't realize it was this forum. Earlier I had been glancing through nearly a dozen different gaming forums, and thought I had seen it one of them.

ASE doesn't do that much for me, but I can't wait to see the others.

Nanotech ... yay!!!

Alien Worldship ... aka Metamorphosis Alpha ... always did like the idea, even if the implementation was always dodgy, at best.

Will this be a version of the corps world setting for EABA?
I am Death. Death the Avenger, purger of sins. Death the Merciful, purifier of souls. Those who considered me gone, think again, Those who laughed and mocked me, be afraid. I am returned, and this time Judgement will not be denied, for my name is Death, and I have come to Judge you.

I don't think the ship in metamorphosis alpha was alien, I think it was one form earth that went wrong somehow.

Aha. That's the original version. I was thinking 4e by Mudpuppy games which had the human generation ship crash into an alien ship of similar purpose

Meh, I was never into it, just going by what I remembered reading in game mags.

I was never much into it either, but it was certainly somewhat more sensible than the slightly later "Gamma World" ...

... and I got the 4e rules as a Comp copy from one of the (local) authors, so it was a freebie ... I doubt I would have paid for it.

Some interesting ideas and a more detailed background, though, that could go reasonably well with EABA as the rule system!
