The attached is a fairly solid version of the "advanced" character sheet. The front of it, anyways. I believe it has a few glitches when compared with the rules, but it is a start.
As always, there is a tradeoff between presenation, text size and amount of info available. This character sheet is designed to be readable and usable on an iPad screen, which will be about 80% the size of the printed version. So take that into account if you want me to cram more things onto it. It has to be easily readable at that size. If you are looking at this as a prior EABA player, that's a good point of view. If you are new to this playtest and have no familiarity with EABA, then take it on its merits as a new document. This attachment is hidden for guests. Please log in or register to see it. |

I like the new look. It's a bit more traditional while still having the techie look of EABA. 1.1's sheet overwhelmed non-engineers in my group.

Yeah, I like it too. I have to agree with Eisenmann; the 1.1 character sheet looked really cool, but had my new players scratching their heads every time I asked for a roll. This sheet makes it really easy to find what you need.

Well, I miss the hexagon from the middle. It is very crowded compared to the puritan v1 charsheet and still it hasn't got enough space for the skills, not to mention the gear.
(But for the equipments I usually use a clean A4 sheet to keep track of all the hidden blades...) |

Si vis pacem, para bellum.

It is not so much that it is crowded, it is designed for the smaller screen of something like an iPad, so I cannot cram as much onto it. The front of the sheet will be for the most important stuff, and there will be a "back page" with room for everything else. If I am lucky, I might even be able to make the pdf so that tapping a certain section (like skills) expands it out to show a bigger selection, or maybe is scrollable. We'll see.

I like this design better than the hexagon. The hexagon was very cool looking, but not clear on how to use it right off the bat.
This has a bit of a Bespin/Cloud City feel to it. |

Don't know about the bespin thing, but I agree that I liked the hex motif (BTW, did you ever see the old sheet that had a huge hex on it to list skills in? Not too practical as it required inkjet level writing, but nice looking.
The new one loses the hex motif, but gains so much more the tradeoff's benefits are inarguable. |

I am Death. Death the Avenger, purger of sins. Death the Merciful, purifier of souls. Those who considered me gone, think again, Those who laughed and mocked me, be afraid. I am returned, and this time Judgement will not be denied, for my name is Death, and I have come to Judge you.

Per a request, here is the current version of the char sheet front page.

That's nice. This is the Basic sheet where the Advanced one doesn't have the -1, -2, -3, etc in the Hits column. Correct? Those would vary based on a quarter of the character's (Strenght + Health).

I believe it is a hybrid at this point, since it has all the advanced secondary stats on the attributes. I would simply subtract those layers in photoshop to make the basic sheet.
